Wonkyo brings more than 20 years of international investment and real estate experience to his position with DRM. As a Managing Director, he will be based in New York where he will lead the sourcing of debt investment opportunities including mezzanine debt, whole loan, B-Note, and preferred equity.

Most recently, Wonkyo co-founded real estate investment firm, Iceberg Partners in 2016, where he closed multiple large-scale investments including residential developments and hospitality recapitalizations in New York City. For nearly 10 years, Wonkyo worked for Franklin Templeton Investments in New York, most recently as Executive Director. Prior to moving to New York, he held positions with Star PMC, a property management arm of Lone Star Funds, KPMG Inc., and Deloitte FAS in Seoul.

Wonkyo earned a B.A. from Yonsei University and a M.S. from Columbia University.
