Aki Hano

Managing Director, Diamond Realty Management America

Aki Hano brings more than 15 years of experience in real estate business under international work environments. As a managing director, he is based in Los Angels where he has been overseeing the company’s real estate debt businesses. He has been involved in all stages of transactions from sourcing, underwriting, documentations, and monitoring existing investments. Recently, his role expanded to cover the company’s equity investment projects, bringing his financing expertise to support the projects achieve refinancing and restructuring of loans.

Previously, Aki has worked for Prologis in Tokyo where he was responsible for the dispositions of the company’s portfolio assets and formulating a JV with one of the top Japanese developers to develop a large-scale industrial asset with multi-hundreds of millions in project cost. He also has experiences acquiring portfolio of residential assets in Japan and financing various types of real estate in the past.

Aki earned his B.A. from Brigham Young University Hawaii.
